Lee Jung-hyun, “19.1 points 7.4Ast”, can you summon Albert White 20 years ago?

If Lee Jung-hyun (Sono) adds 21 points, four assists and three 3-pointers, he could summon Albert White from the 2003-2004 season.

The 2023-2024 season is also at the end of the first round. Goyang Sono will close out the first round with a home game against Busan KCC on Dec. 12.레모나토토 도메인

Lee is averaging 19.9 points and 7.4 assists in eight games. He has totaled 169 points and 59 assists. If he has 21 points and 4 assists against KCC, he will have 180 points and 63 assists.

180 points and 63 assists would mean an average of 20 points and 7 assists over nine games in a round.

In the history of the game, there have been 15 single-round scores of 180+ points and 63+ assists.

The late Chris Williams holds the record with five, followed by Albert White with four. Hyun Ju-yeop Hyun is the only Korean player to do it twice. Gerald Walker, Bernard Blount, Heo Jae, and Aaron Haynes are also on the list.

This list shrinks to just one player if we add the requirement of a three-point shot.

Lee currently has 24 three-pointers. He averages 3.0 per game. Add in his 21 points, 4 assists, and 3 3-pointers against KCC, and he has 180 points, 63 assists, and 27 3-pointers.

Albert White, who played for Incheon E-Land (now Daegu Korea Gas Corporation) in the 2003-2004 season, is the only other player to accomplish this in the fifth round with 289 points (32.1 ppg), 70 assists (7.8 apg) and 29 three-pointers (3.7).

Can Lee overcome the daunting task of 21 points, four assists and three 3-pointers to become the first Korean and second player after White to accomplish the feat?

SONO will face KCC at 4 p.m. on Dec. 12 at Goyang Sono Arena. With a win, SONO will finish the first round with their first back-to-back wins of the season.
