Jeong Eun-won, Ha Joo-seok and others will hold final training in Miyazaki, Japan from the 1st of next month.

Hanwha, which succeeded in getting out of last place for the first time in four years, is entering finishing training in preparation for next season.

Hanwha announced on the 30th, “We will conduct final training in Miyazaki, Japan from the 1st to the 26th of next month.” This camp was set up for 45 people, including coach Won-ho Choi, 9 coaches, 3 training coaches, and 32 players.

Among the fielders, second baseman Eun-won Jeong안전놀이터, a Golden Glove winner, Hyun-bin Moon, a high school graduate, and Joo-seok Ha, who returned from disciplinary action this season, were named. Among the pitchers, left-hander Kim Ki-joong, who showed potential as a starting pitcher at the end of the season, and Kim Seo-hyun, Nam Ji-min, and Kim Kyu-yeon, the first overall picks in the 2023 KBO rookie draft, were included. Hwang Jun-seo, Jo Dong-wook (pitcher), Jeong An-seok, and Hwang Young-mook (fielder) selected in the 2024 rookie draft will also accompany him.

This closing training is largely divided into three themes: improving defensive ability, team fighting ability, and adapting to multi-positions. The biggest goal is to improve the defensive ability of fielders who have chronic defensive anxiety. Additionally, by improving team tactics, we plan to reduce mistakes made in attack and defense this season and increase the number of players who can play in multiple positions.

Meanwhile, Doosan will conduct final training at Icheon Bears Park from the 31st to the end of next month. Coaches, including manager Seung-yeop Lee, and 45 players, including Dong-ju Kim (pitcher) and Jae-hwan Kim (fielder), will participate.
