‘Runaway locomotive’ Betts’ 15-game hitting streak to MVP finalist?

Mookie Betts, 31, of the Los Angeles Dodgers, who as recently as last month was ranked in the top four in National League Most Valuable Player (MVP)토스카지노 mock voting, is causing a stir.

In 123 games during the 28-day season, Betts hit .315 with 35 home runs, 93 RBI, 110 runs scored, 152 RBI, a .407 OPS and a 1.018 slugging percentage.

Betts has hit safely in his last 15 games. Betts also exploded for seven hits in a three-game series against the hometown Boston Red Sox from April 26-28.

Betts also hit his 35th home run of the season on Aug. 28, tying his single-season record set last year. The career high is already booked.

As a result, Betts’ OPS has risen vertically from 0.951 after the first game of the month to 1.018 today. First in the National League and second in the majors.

There’s still a month left in the season, but it’s enough momentum to overtake reigning MVP Ronald Acuña Jr. (26, Atlanta Braves).

Betts has multi-hit games in seven of his last 10 games, and he’s shown off his highly sensitive bat with five hits on the 24th and three on the 27th and 28th.

If Betts can keep up the momentum, he could win MVP honors for the first time in five years after 2018. He would also become the first player to win MVP honors in both leagues.

Along with Betts’ surge, the Los Angeles Dodgers are also leading the division. With the win, they improved to 80-49 and a .620 winning percentage, extending their lead over the second-place team to 12.5 games.
