Kim Ji-yoon, Jung Byung-jin named to mixed-double curling team for second straight year
Kim Ji-yoon and Jeong Byung-jin (Seoul Metropolitan Government) have been selected to represent Korea in curling mixed doubles for the second consecutive year.
Kim Ji-yoon and Jeong Byung-jin defeated Kim Hye-lin and Yoo Min-hyun (Gangwon B) in the mixed doubles final at the Korea Curling Championships 2023 at Uijeongbu Curling Center in Gyeonggi-do, Gyeonggi-do, on Jan. 31.
After trading the first and second games, Kim Ji-yoon and Jung Byung-jin scored two points in the eighth end, when the score was tied at 4-4, to secure a thrilling victory. 메이저놀이터
With this victory, Kim Jiyoon and Jeong Byung-jin will retain the Taeguk mark for the 2023-2024 season and compete in various international events, including the World Championships.
“I want to practice as much as I can and show my best at the World Championships,” said Kim Ji-yoon, while Jung Byung-jin said, “I feel proud to be selected for the national team.”
