Ministry of Culture “allocates money to repair” damage to Jamboree lawn

The closing ceremony of the 2023 World Scout Jamboree and the K-Pop Super Live Concert were held at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on the 11th of this month, causing concern as the turf was damaged. In response, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST)온라인바카라 promised to restore the grass.

“We have budgeted for the restoration of the stadium since the planning stage of the concert and will do our best to support the restoration,” the ministry said in a press release on the 13th.

The ministry explained that it will begin emergency restoration. “As soon as the demolition of concert-related facilities such as the stage is completed, the Seoul Facilities Corporation will closely examine the ground conditions and begin emergency repairs such as replanting the dedicated grass,” the ministry said.

The ministry said it would co-operate with FC Seoul and the Seoul Facilities Corporation. “We will work with FC Seoul, which uses the Seoul World Cup Stadium as its home ground, and the Seoul Facilities Corporation to restore the stadium as soon as possible,” the ministry said.

The clarification comes in the wake of a protest by FC Seoul’s official supporters, Suh Ho-shin, on the club’s official Instagram page on the 10th.

They were concerned that the Seoul World Cup Stadium was chosen as the venue for the jamboree. “Tomorrow’s closing ceremony has become another wound for us,” they said, adding, “I don’t think there is anything we can do to change now that so much ‘voluntary cooperation’ has already been forced on not only us, but also private organisations such as companies and universities, beyond public corporations and public organisations, through one-sided communication.”

The guardian asked the jamboree participants not to damage the grass, saying, “Just as many places have been transformed into your campsites, our stadium has become a performance venue.” “Please enjoy your time at the Sangam World Cup Stadium, the place where we are drawing our dreams, but we respectfully ask you to use it as carefully as possible,” he said.

The 2023 Saemangeum World Jamboree, which was marred by a heatwave and poor management, came to a close on 11 November with a closing ceremony and K-pop super live concert at Sangam World Cup Stadium in Seoul.
